One of our current organs, located in the sanctuary.

We eagerly await the installation of two new organs, to be built by the
Noack Organ Company of Georgetown, Massachusetts, in August of the year
2010. The main organ, which will be located in the choir loft, will be
a four-manual mechanical action instrument of fifty-eight stops. A
much smaller two-manual instrument of fourteen stops will be located in
the sanctuary. A brochure 1.36 Mb entitled Proposed New Organs has
been prepared which gives detailed information about the new
instruments and why they are needed. We continue to seek donations
toward this worthy project.

The current organs of the Cathedral, built in 1962 by Möller, are
deteriorating and are in need of extensive repairs. It would not be
cost effective to undertake these repairs, for reasons that are
explained in the brochure mentioned above; hence the need for new
organs. Presently, there is a four-manual instrument in the sanctuary and a two-manual instrument in the choir loft.
