Birthright
We invite everyone to participate in the Baby Bottles for
Birthright, an organization which does so much to help mothers decide
to bring their child to term and to support them once the child is born. A number of women from our parish are Birthright volunteers. To
learn more, to volunteer or to offer help call 782-0373. You may also
visit the web site of Birthright International at www.birthright.org.
Pro-Life Wisconsin
Pro-Life Wisconsin is committed to "Defending
God's Plan" for human life. God lovingly creates each human
being. Beginning at fertilization, we are unique persons, and God
has a plan for each one of us! Unfortunately, abortion, euthanasia,
and assisted suicide undermine that plan by destroying human beings
created in His image.
Project Rachel
Project Rachel is
the name of the Catholic Church's healing ministry to those who have been
involved in abortion. Founded in 1984 by
Victoria Thorn in Milwaukee, today Project Rachel programs can be found
in 140 Catholic dioceses in the United States, as well as in dioceses
in other countries.
Project Rachel operates
as a network of professional counselors and priests, all trained to provide
one-on-one spiritual and psychological care for those who are suffering
because of an abortion. In addition to individualized counseling,
some programs include support groups and retreats.
If you have been hurt by an abortion in your life, you are not alone; dial 1-866-RACHEL-4 or 1-866-344-2500.

WAFER food pantry(located on the Causeway) is dedicated to providing food relief to those in need. Last year, we provided nearly 10,000 food packages to over 2400 La Crosse area families. Nearly 40% of those receiving food from us are children. Without the help of a dedicated and supportive community, this would not be possible.
